Pediatrics COVID-19 Vaccine Registration

We’re here for you, your family and our community.

The Hospitals of Providence works closely with the Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to respond to any potential novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in our area. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we take every precaution to keep you, your family, our staff and our community safe.

Our COVID SAFE Standards

COVID SAFE standards are built upon deep clinical expertise from previous crises and on-going management of COVID-19, as well as continuous incorporation of CDC, CMS and State recommendations. They are a rigorous combination of infection prevention processes, training, testing, personal protective equipment and technology. Our COVID SAFE standards includes six components:
  • Distinct COVID SAFE and COVID CARE Zones – separate areas with clear signage and protocols
  • Rigorous Physician and Staff Protocols – daily screening, universal masking and access to PPE
  • Heightened Sanitization – enhanced cleaning of surfaces and plenty of hand sanitization stations
  • Access to COVID-19 Testing – send out testing available through emergency room provider services; rapid testing for patients, physicians and staff, if required
  • Precautions for Patients and Visitors – provision of face masks, hand sanitizer and physical distancing
  • Enhanced Virtual Access – virtual care, remote monitoring and connectivity with loved ones

Additional Precautions

  • All outside groups and other events are canceled until further notice.
  • Entry into care sites is being limited. Anyone who enters will be screened carefully and requested to sanitize their hands.
Protocols continue to adapt in real-time to follow federal and local health agency guidelines.

COVID-19 Vaccination Information


The arrival of the COVID-19 vaccines is a positive step in our response to the pandemic. While vaccines are still limited and will be rolled-out in a phased approach, here are some things to know about availability of the vaccine, and some do’s and don’ts to help you during this process.

DO
  • Do your research. Go online and check your primary care provider or local hospital’s website or social media for vaccine availability information. Visit www.EPStrong.org
  • Be patient. Know that vaccines are only available in limited quantities and that vaccinations for health care providers and first responders take precedence.
  • Check your eligibility. The Department of State Health Services website explains who is eligible to receive a vaccine and when.
  • Eligible residents can reserve their spot by pre-registering online with The City of El Paso.
  • Understand there is regional variability. Some regions may have vaccines available while others may not.

DON’T

  • Don’t just show up. We ask that you please be patient and not arrive at your doctor’s office or hospital looking for the vaccine or information. Our hospitals are currently following state and local health agency guidelines by administering vaccines to healthcare providers.
  • Don’t assume your local provider has vaccine available or that you can be vaccinated right away.
