Comprehensive vascular treatment
The Hospitals of Providence Vein Center offers treatment for venous ulcers, varicose veins and other congenital venous conditions. Some of the most common procedures we perform include:

Microphlebectomy – This is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to remove large surface varicose veins. Patient recovery time is typically quick and a majority of patients get back to regular activity soon after the procedure.

Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy – This procedure is used on smaller veins and includes the use of ultrasound to visualize an underlying varicose or spider vein. Once visualized, the vein is injected with a solution that causes it to shrink and eventually disappear altogether.

Radio Frequency Ablation – This is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radio frequency energy to seal off problem veins. Patients will typically need to wear compression socks for a week following the procedure, but can otherwise resume normal activity.

The Hospitals of Providence Vein Center provides comprehensive treatment from simple varicose vein treatment to complex venous conditions and wound care treatment. To learn more or to schedule an appointment, call 866-934-3627.
